Extra pockets for your activities with your dog.

The reward belt for your dog training. Regardless of whether you train Obedience, Special Search, Nosework, Agility, Herding, or are out for a walk with your dog, it is always practical to add a couple of extra pockets. If you do not have a reward (toy or candy) in your training belt, the pockets will also fit perfectly with your personal belongings. Out-n-out reward belt has been developed with the idea that it should be light and flexible. We only use Velcro original for the velcro to last as long as possible. The pockets are shaped so that the dog's reward (or your private things) do not fall out when you and your dog move on the training field, in the woods, on the walk.

Fickor for promenad och hundträning

Out-n-out's designer (Anna Käll) talks about how Cookie Belt® came about.

A day with dogs

After the dogs have had their breakfast, some bookkeeping is fixed and the most urgent e-mail is answered, we go for our morning walk. We usually go up into the woods. There I know that it is a long way to the nearest major road and we rarely meet other people with dogs. After the walk, I choose for the day one or two of the dogs who get to do a little training session. It can be torque training on obstacles or for a Border Collie, a little herding on the sheep. In the summer they can swim a little in the pond. After the morning activities, it's off to work. When the working day is over, it carries off to the forest again and often one or more of the dogs train after the walk. Sometimes there is also a course on the schedule before I go home, it is usually around 8-9.

A little sportier, a little more modern and in better materials

As you may understand, it is often impractical to bring clothes into my everyday life. A number of years ago, I, therefore, started sketching a jacket for dog training. I wanted the jacket to look a little smaller "dog jacket". A little sportier and more modern to be able to blend into everyday life. It would be in a comfortable, stylish, and flexible material that was manufactured in Europe under controlled forms from both the environment and the worker's perspective. It was important that the pockets on the jacket were both stylish and spacious. I wanted to develop a training jacket that I myself could imagine using in everyday life as well. The pockets began to take shape, but I was not completely satisfied with the range of motion in the sleeves. Other projects appeared that meant that I never had time to complete the jacket so it remained in a box waiting for new strength for several years.

The jacket for dog trainers

The problem.

In the spring of 2021, my friend Fredrika started complaining that her extra pockets that she used for Nosework were starting to fall off. The Velcro was out and she asked if I could help change the Velcro. I replied that it was safe to solve and took my pockets to work. When I looked at them, I got the same feeling as when I was going to start with that jacket ... Can't I make them a little sportier, a little more modern and in better materials?
