If your dog gets cold easily or needs extra warmth during the coldest days of the year, Layer 2 is the next step in our layering system. For active dogs wearing a sport or recovery coat from Layer 1, a warm wool coat is an easy way to add extra insulation. Simply put it on over Layer 1 while your dog is waiting between training sessions, recovering after activity or resting in the car.

Our Layer 2 coats are called Warmwool and come in both single and double-layer versions. Warmwool is made from an exclusive Italian wool blend that combines warmth with a soft and flexible feel. Warmwool Double has two layers of wool for really cold days and dogs that need extra warmth. Despite the added warmth, the material remains soft and flexible, following the dog’s body without becoming stiff or bulky.
